CLEMSON UNIVERSITY WOMAN'S CLUB
WELCOMES YOU

Fostering Clemson Women for Over 100 Years

President's Message:

WELCOME

Our First Lady of Clemson University and Honorary President of Clemson University Woman’s Club, Beth Clements, the CUWC Executive Board, and I extend our warmest welcome to the 2024-2025 Clemson University Woman’s Club. It is an honor to serve as President for the upcoming year.

True to our mission as a social club for women affiliated with Clemson University (alumni, spouses, children, parents, faculty members, etc.), we have worked diligently in planning a year of monthly luncheons with featured programs of interest and multiple interest groups for our active members. Our goals this year continue to be to grow active membership, support Clemson University and the surrounding areas, and sponsor an endowed scholarship for Clemson University undergraduates.

We are proud of the CUWC Scholarship Endowment Fund, which was established on June 25, 1990, with an initial contribution of $394. To date the endowed fund is now over $90,000 thanks to 177 gifts that have been made to the foundation since its inception.  In 2024, our club’s efforts raised $6,769.22.

Please join us for another year of fellowship, education, and entertainment. Be a part of this long-standing club that encompasses a rich history of traditions and excellence.  We stand on the shoulders of many incredible women who had a vison of camaraderie and support for Clemson University, its women affiliates, the students, and the surrounding areas since 1916.  What a privilege it is to contribute to this amazing legacy.

We look forward to an amazing year!  Welcome, and Go Tigers!

Joanne Avery
